WBSPYG - Build a Pygmy Boats Kayak

Offered exclusively on the Pygmy Boats website (www.pygmyboats.com), this week long class offers the full use of our boat building shop, all the safety materials, equipment, and tools required to build your Pygmy Boats wooden kayak. Our expert Wooden Boat School Instructor will be on site to observe and assist your construction. At the completion of this course you will have acquired a significant set of boat building skills which will allow you to complete the construction at home on your own. Your instructor will be available by phone to answer any questions and give advice during the finishing process.  Apalachicola Maritime Museum has an exclusive contract for kayaks with Pygmy Boats, voted Best Wooden Kayak Kit. Pygmy Boats is the original manufacturer of stitch and glue boat kits in North America. Driving Directions:

Look to the right as you pass over the bridge heading west into Apalachicola. You will see the concrete docks on the right. Take your first right after the bridge and then the second right past the courthouse onto Water Street. Go 100 yards to 103 Water Street.
