TMWW - Trip, Motor Vessel, Historic Waterfront Cruise

45 minute tour. Leaves daily at 11 AM. Reservations required. Minimum 4 passengers.

Learn about the history of Apalachicola from our Captain who was born and raised here, a fisherman and oysterman his whole life. You'll hear stories about local people and their lives, and about the ups and downs of this river town from it's birth as a cotton depot in the early 19th century to its present role as a part of Historic Old Florida. You'll see shrimp boats, oyster boats, snapper/grouper boats as well as the land bound facilities that support them on our working waterfront. Perhaps a manatee or two may surface, or a gator slip quietly beneath the waters of Scipio Creek. Sometimes dolphin come into the estuary after mullet and there are always ospreys, laughing gulls and brown pelicans on the wing above the river. A great taste of Apalchicola, which may leave you wanting more.
